Our therapists are registered with Revenue NSW as a WDO sponsor to reduce your fines when you engage in mental health counselling or drug and alcohol counselling. If you are eligible, and you are engaged in therapy, you can reduce your fines up to $1000 per month.

Mood Disorders
Depression is a mental disorder causing persistent sadness, hopelessness, and low motivation. It affects thoughts, emotions, daily life, and can include appetite changes, sleep issues, fatigue, and concentration difficulties. Treatment includes reengaging in previously meaningful activities and social relationships and navigating triggers including conflict, grief and loss or role transitions.
Bipolar Disorder is a mental health condition with extreme changes in mood - from energetic highs to depressed lows. Sleep and circadian rhythm have been found to be very important in the prevention and management of mood. Treatment includes medication, therapy, and lifestyle changes for symptom management.

Eating Disorders
Bulimia and Binge Eating disorder manifest in unhealthy relationships with food. binge eating followed by behaviours such as self-induced vomiting or excessive exercise to avoid weight gain or consuming large amounts of food while feeling a loss of control overeating habits. Treatment includes developing healthier relationships with food and your body, finding better ways to manage emotions, build self-acceptance and a more positive food experience. In our Double Bay psychology practice, we collaborate with your GP, psychiatrist, and dietician specialists.
ADHD and Autism

Grief and Loss
Grief and Loss can be experienced when encountering a death, relationship breakdown, or significant life change, emotions like sadness, anger, confusion, and relief are common. Mourning varies greatly among individuals. In Australia's diverse society, cultural background and beliefs influence grief expression and processing. We recognise that while experiencing grief and loss is normal and important for coping, sometimes you need support from a therapist to help you navigate these emotions and past experiences with grief counselling.
Psychosis
Psychosis involves disconnection from reality, with delusions, hallucinations, disorganised thinking. It can be found in schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, severe depression and drug use. Early recognition and treatment will support recovery and functioning. Therapy and medication are commonly used to manage symptoms.
